Let's build Power For The People.

I’ve never been afraid to speak truth to power. Even when it got me put on restriction.

And all my life — as I’ve shown in courtrooms, campaigns and in the corridors of power — I have always fought to build power For The People. That’s why I’m running for California State Senate District 11.

As a San Francisco prosecutor, women’s rights attorney and elected women’s leader, I've fought for victims of sexual violence and domestic violence, gun violence survivors, patients and immigrants.

Now, I’m running to represent my hometown of San Francisco, as well as Broadmoor, Colma, Daly City, and portions of South San Francisco.

I've fought for decent, safe and sanitary housing — starting with my service at the Department of Housing and Urban Development in the Clinton/Gore administration.

I’ve trained thousands of young people aspiring to lead at my Campaign Boot Camps.

I’ve fought the boys club and against the culture of sexual harassment and abuse, bullying, and racial and anti-LGBTQ discrimination way too common in politics.

I helped win critical reforms for whistleblowers and anti-harassment codes of conduct to hold us all accountable. I’ve fought corporate influence in campaigns — including limits on corporate PAC money and superdelegates in the Democratic Party, and I helped pass the California Disclose Act.

Organizing with labor unions and working families, I’ve been part of successful initiatives that helped health care workers, public school teachers, veterans, and firefighters — because all workers deserve fair pay, dignity at work and a secure retirement.

San Francisco and California HAVE to be more affordable so everyone can be able to work where they live and live where they work. NO ONE should be one paycheck away from the street or one medical bill away from bankruptcy. AI is going to change our lives for better or for worse, and we have an opportunity to shape the future of work, create more jobs and educate our children while protecting their mental health and wellness.

We need leaders who advance our San Francisco values and build power for the people. And that’s the kind of representative I will be in the California State Senate.

Now, the State Senate election isn’t until 2028.

And in the meantime, we all have a lot of work to do together to take our country back, to protect our rights, to attract more good paying jobs, and to build a better quality of life and brighter future for everyone.

Let's do it together.
